Arts & Crafts will release Reckon, the fifth solo album from Jason Collett, on September 25.

In advance of the release, two tracks from this passionate, poetic and political album are available for download, including “Where Things Go Wrong,” which was premiered by RollingStone.com last week.

Jason has also announced a number of North American tour dates, a list which he adds to today with the announcement of several Canadian dates supporting longtime friend Bahamas (dates below).

Jason has also unveiled a number of the guests expected to perform at his October 2 hometown Reckon release show in Toronto. The list includes Bahamas, former backing band Zeus, former producer and current Toronto political figure Andrew Cash, one time Broken Social Scene bandmates Kevin Drew, Brendan Canning and Charles Spearin and friends and collaborators Danielle Duval, Liam O’Neil, Howie Beck and Bryden Baird. More guests are expected to be announced as the show nears.

Reckon, the fifth solo album from Jason Collett, will be released September 25.

Today, Rolling Stone premiered a new track from the record, “Where Things Go Wrong,” a reflective, slow burn of a track that you can download for free here.

“Where Things Go Wrong” follows “I Wanna Rob A Bank,” the first released track from Reckon to be released which premiered via Huffington Post two weeks ago. Check out that track and video, here.

Reckon is available for pre-order right now via GalleryAC and includes Essential Cuts, a 11-track career retrospective.

Collett has also announced a string of North American tour dates to support Reckon as well as a European tour with Dan Mangan.

Dan Mangan will spend late fall 2012 continuing to traverse Europe in support of 2011 critical smash Oh Fortune. To support of these dates, he’ll be joined by A&C statesman Jason Collett, who will be touring his forthcoming fifth solo album, Reckon, available September 25.
